Justice Programs:
The Foundation has a proven pedigree of running several restorative and anti-recidivism justice programmes to help participants understand victim impact and avoidance of reoffence. These outputs also educate young participants in the perils of things such as Gang Culture, Joint Enterprise, ‘County Lines’ drug distribution and Knife Crime, and how to help them avoid being drawn into them.
Working alongside partners such as St. Giles Trust, the units are delivered by specialist staff and coaches, and combines a session of physical activity followed by an educational input. This learning is then consolidated in follow-up sessions where active discussions take place to examine how it can be implemented in the lives of the young person to help with their rehabilitation, as well as providing benefits to the setting within which the outputs are delivered (e.g. Pennington Centre, Adel Beck Pupil Referral Unit; HMPs Wealstun and Armley).
