Playmaker Award – Primary Schools
The Foundation provides an in-depth programme for all nursery and pre-school settings, delivering fun and engaging sessions, whilst linking directly with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. These target the five key areas of EYFS: physical development; communication and language; fundamentals; emotional development; and personal and social development.
The sessions are created to increase confidence and communication between peers whilst developing their essential movement skills. Within our programme, we believe in getting the children ‘school-ready’, ensuring that we work on their independence, and their teamwork activities are created to develop and embed their fine motor and movement skills. Imaginative and innovative sessions are designed to aid the child/ren’s development of their personal, social and emotional attributes, along with their communication and language skills.
Sports Leaders Courses - Secondary
The Foundation delivers a qualification in Sports Leadership, where participants will acquire and demonstrate important life skills, such as effective communication and organisation, whilst learning to lead basic physical activities for younger people, their peers, older generations and within the community.
The courses involve both guided and ‘peer-to-peer’ learning and supervised leadership training, to ensure that learners have all the skills they need to lead basic physical activities to other people.
We offer qualifications in Sports Leadership at Level 1, 2 & 3 to ensure that learners have a structured leadership pathway that helps them develop along the way.
The Level 2 Qualification in Community Sports Leadership (CSL2) is recognised in personal statements and the Level 3 Qualification in Sports Leadership (SL3) even carries UCAS points
